All trips are priced on an individual basis. The base rate includes our fees, as well as food and motel for the drivers.
Not included are our transportation costs to and from your vehicle. This may include air fares, or ground transportation to and from the vehicle. When you call our office we are happy to provide these figures. Getting this information places you under no obligation.
There is no way to estimate fuel cost. To get a basis on your final cost, you may take the mileage divided by your MPG and get total gallons. Then multiply that by the current cost per gallon you are presently paying.
Tolls, if any, are also added to all trips.
A final word about costs. If you can pick us up or drive us to / from the airport there is no charge. If you have a lot of frequent flier miles and want us to use them there is no charge. We do not mark up our costs. If you want to see the receipts, we will provide them. If you’d like to keep the receipts after we are finished then we are happy to give them to you.
It is the vehicle owner’s responsibility to have the vehicle packed and ready to go. Our drivers to not pack or unload vehicles. If for any reason the vehicle is not ready to go, you will be charged $70.00 per hour waiting time. After 4 hours, you trip may be cancelled and a charge of $700.00 would be assessed plus all expenses including round trip transportation costs, any airline change fees, ground transportation, and food and motel accommodations if needed. If the trip is postponed until the next day, the waiting fee of $300 will be applied and related expenses such as food, motel, airline change fees, increased airline transportation costs, parking, and ground transportation costs are the sole responsibility of the owner/agent.
DBA Professional Drivers WILL NOT move or operate any vehicle under unsafe operating conditions. Vehicles that are deemed unsafe by our agents, mechanically, or not properly registered, inspected, or insured will remain at the point of origin. The owner or authorized agent will be charged a fee of $700.00 plus all expenses including round trip transportation costs, any airline change fees, ground transportation, and food and motel accommodations if needed. It is the owner’s right to view all receipts and request copies from the office.
Weather and mechanical delays will be charged at the rate of $300.00 per day plus all expenses such as motel and food. Related expenses such as airline change fees, increased airline transportation costs, parking, and ground transportation costs are the sole responsibility of the owner/agent.
In the event of weather delays it will be the sole discretion of our agent/driver to make the determination that the roads are safe to operate.
In the event of a major mechanical breakdown, our agent/driver will make every attempt to have the vehicle towed to a manufacture’s garage. Our agents will contact the owner’s liaison between the repair shops. It is expressly understood that the owner/authorized is responsible for the authorization and payment of all repairs. In the unlikely event where we may have to leave the vehicle while repairs are being made, our agents will consult with the owner/agent as to the best course of action. All transportation expenses will be assumed by the owner/agent to and from the vehicle. If for any reason the owner/agent does not want us to return to the vehicle to complete the trip, the owner/agent will hold Professional Drivers harmless for any events that occur after we have left.
In the event of a minor mechanical breakdown, Professional Drivers will consult with the owner/agent and try to resolve the matter immediately and be on our way. Wipers, fluids, lights, belts, and tires. It is expressly understood that the owner/authorized is responsible for the authorization and payment of all repairs. Even minor repairs may incur delays and additional expenses as outlined above.

To make a reservation for moving your vehicle, contact us by phone or e-mail. Once your dates are confirmed, the reservation can be finalized. You will receive an oral confirmation from one of our representatives, and if requested, a written confirmation as well. No reservation is final without this step.
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time the reservation is finalized charged to your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.

If you cancel your delivery, you will be charged for all expenses incurred by Professional Drivers. This may be, but not limited to, airfares and ground transportation already booked. Your deposit is included in the cancellation fees.
If you reschedule your trip, additional charges may apply. Another deposit will not be required.
Payment in full is required at time of delivery and may be made in Cash, Certified Check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. Gratuities are not included in our pricing.
